Tristan had a follow-up doctor's appointment today to check on his jaundice. Everything went really well. The doctor was quite impressed by how much weight Tristan's gained in the 10 days since his last appointment - a whole pound! He had been down 5 oz. from his birthweight, but now he's 8lbs, 5 oz. Guess the increased nursing has been working!

Overall, things are going pretty well. Ronan seems pretty fascinated by Tristan and has asked to hold him from time to time. I've been trying hard to make sure that I spend some one-on-one time with Ronan as much as I can. I still worry that I haven't found the right balance, but everyone seems to be doing well. The other day, we all went for a walk around our street (Tom, Ronan, Tristan, me, and the dogs). It was really nice for us to all do something together and the weather was gorgeous! I'm hoping this weekend we can do a family trip to the zoo or something. I think it would be fun for Ronan and a nice way to do something that's designed for him, as opposed to going out on errands with me.
