My first week back is done. It's been a busy start, but I'm excited for most of my classes. It's a little weird to think that this is my last semester taking classes. It'll be a nice change, but also a clear sign that I'm moving towards the end of my school career (eventually!)
Ronan's been doing fairly well since we got back from Minnesota. He's been sick, but we got him on antibiotics, so that seems to be helping. He's not completely better yet, but at least he's not constantly coughing anymore (knock on wood). He's back in daycare and is readjusting. The first day or two, he was a little clingy when I dropped him off, but by the time I came to get him, he was having a ball. I'm still fiddling a bit with the pick up time. Last week, there were a couple days when I showed up just as he was sitting down for snack time and he was a bit torn on what we wanted more.
In cute story news, Tom, Ronan and I went out to dinner the other night (IHOP, since our first choice had a huge wait). Anyway, there was a mom with a little boy sitting a couple tables away from us. He noticed Ronan and started saying "Hi!" and laughing. Ronan finally realized someone was talking to him and so he'd say hi too. Then they both started saying "No!" to each other and laughing. It was super cute. Normally, I would be worried about bugging other diners, but no one seemed upset and hey, it's IHOP.
But I should get back to work. It's hard re-motivating myself, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually!
