Today was a bit of an off day - Ronan wasn't really thrilled to be on the ground, nor did he want to nap, despite how exhausted he was. I think a part of it though is that he's really enjoying standing up now and he's not as happy laying down or sitting on the floor. However, he's not the best at standing, so I have to be right behind him to catch him. While that means I can't get a lot done, it has been fun to watch him - today he even tried to take a couple steps from the edge of the coffee table toward the couch, where Loki was sitting. Things sure have changed quickly.

Despite our cranky day today, though, he's been doing pretty well. We went for a walk yesterday, which was fun, but quite brisk. The weather is definitely changing. I like taking him out in different kinds of weather though and I think he liked it too. We met a big dog while on our walk who came bounding up to us (his owner was right there). He was very friendly and sniffing Ronan - Ronan however didn't really seem to care. He just gave us all a look like, "eh, been there, done that." It's a plus of having dogs - it looks like he doesn't have a fear of them, even though they're so much bigger than he is! Which reminds me, Loki is a great, long-suffering dog. The other day he was laying next to Ronan on the ground and Ronan started doing his kicks (he lays on his back, lifts his feet up and then brings them down - he normally likes to do this to tables and walls), hitting Loki. Loki just sat there and let him go - I stopped him though.

Anyway, not much else is going on. I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but Ronan has started saying "dada" a lot. I don't think it really means anything at this point, since he says it to everything and everyone, but it's still cute.
