Daycare

Yesterday was our first day at daycare. It wasn't exactly stellar. Ronan did well when we got there - he immediately reached out for one of the workers and nestled up against her, so that made me feel good. When I got back though after my meeting, the same woman was walking him around with his blanket and he was leaning against her, red-eyed and crying/sniffling. I felt so bad! Apparently he did ok at first, then slept for about 45 minutes, but when he woke up, he started crying and refused to eat.

However, as soon as we got home, he was his usual happy self, so I'm not too worried about him. In fact, I was more worried about what the staff would think of him. He goes back tomorrow, as I have another meeting, and I'm hoping it goes better. Ronan was doing a good job today drinking out of his sippy cup, so hopefully that'll continue tomorrow.
