Because of the teething thing, Ronan keeps putting anything and everything he gets his hands on into his mouth. So I decided to try a pacifier with him again, just to get him something other than me to suck on. It's working beautifully except for one small snag.
He keeps trying to suck his thumb at the same time and seems quite confused as to why this isn't working. He just jams his thumb into the pacifier and then eventually finds a way to get under it and get his thumb in. But then he grabs the pacifier back from me and tries to put it back in himself, only he just puts the plastic side in. But all's well that ends well - he just fell asleep. I'm hoping that after a little bit, he'll be sound asleep enough for me to move him and go take a shower. Wish me luck!
