My New Job

Things are going pretty well at Sterling now. It was easy to get back into the groove of things - all the people I used to work with are still there, which is nice. The actual job I'm doing is different than what I was doing before, but it's pretty easy and not very stressful (unlike my previous position there!) It also has the added benefit that I can actually get up and go to the bathroom whenever I want. At the auditor's office, I had to ask someone to come sit at the desk whenever I had to leave it, which really got annoying. Sadly, I don't get my jewelry discount anymore since I'm technically a contract worker. Oh well, can't have everything I guess. :)

The only downside is that since I'm working 5 days a week again, it's harder for me to get the dogs down to the lake. They got spoiled when I was at my other job. I took them out when I got home tonight from work for our first walk since Saturday. They had a LOT of energy to burn off. But it's fun to go out with them. Loki especially is such an attention junkie. Whenever he sees people, he puts his ears down and starts wagging his tail furiously and gives the stranger big puppy dog eyes as if to say, "You know you want to pet me."

Finally, in house news, we had an electrician come in to give us an estimate for some work that we need done around here. Hopefully we'll be able to get the work started next week. It'll be nice to have some of this stuff done.
