We finally got snow here! Yesterday it snowed all day, leaving us with about 4 inches. Ronan was very excited, but we didn't get a chance to play yesterday. So today, I got us both bundled up and out we went. The biggest battle was over snowpants, but after his first fall into the snow, he realized the value. We're also still having issues getting mittens on and keeping them on, especially getting his thumb in the proper place. But he makes it work.
We did quite a bit - Ronan made snow angels, we tried to make a snowman (but the snow wasn't packing very well), had a little snowball fight, chased the dogs (and vice versa), and shoveled a bit of the driveway and steps. Ronan really liked shoveling, which was great for me! He doesn't quite have the hang of it yet, so there's some very interesting patterns out there. We probably would have stayed out longer, but as he was trying to brush the snow off the stair railing, he pushed a big batch right into his face and that kind of killed his enthusiasm. But it was a fun hour, and I'm sure we'll be back out there before long.
