I had an appointment today and the news wasn't what I expected. My blood pressure shot back up again (150/90) and the fluid levels had dropped back down to 7, which isn't good. The combo of high bp and low fluid is especially worrying and my doctor initially wanted me to go in and be induced tonight. He's normally very much against inducing, so I know he wouldn't suggest it unless he felt it absolutely necessary.
Luckily, he was also willing to compromise. They drew blood and are going to do some tests today to make sure I'm ok. Then I go back tomorrow morning and get my blood pressure checked again and they'll do a non-stress test to check on the baby. If everything is normal, then we can wait until next week (when I'll be 39 weeks). Otherwise, it looks like I'll go in tomorrow night (the doctor said that waiting 24 hours wouldn't hurt anything).
I'm really hoping we can wait a week. The doctor also did an internal exam and there's no effacement or dilation at this point. I really hope I don't end up having a c-section. On the plus side though, the baby is head down and face down, is just under 7lbs, and all his organs and everything look good.

My .02$ is to drink as much as you can and lie on your left side as much as possible between now and then. Did they test your urine for protein?
Yeah they did, and there wasn't any. They also said the reason they were willing to wait (rather than make me go in that second) was because his growth was good.
Tom just took my blood pressure again, and it hasn't come down at all. But at least my lab tests came back normal.
