Hooray, hooray, I have a job.
I'm temporarily working for the Auditor of State's regional office here. It's mostly admin. work: answering the phones, filing, etc. It's a really nice work environment, with great people, in downtown Canton.
Tomorrow, I interview with the Kaplan test prep group to see if I can get a job teaching. Hopefully this will continue bringing in some extra income, since my Canton job only lasts (in theory) till July 1. However, I'm filling in for someone who is on leave and may possibly extend past that date. It's a bit unnerving not being able to plan very far in the future, finance-wise, but I'm thankful to have this job, and even more thankful that Tom has a great, steady job.
