It's official...

I have dot - at least, that's what it looks like in the picture. In other words, I'm pregnant!!

It's still pretty early - I'm about 6 weeks along, with a due date of Feb. 2. I had my first ultrasound today, where I got to see a tiny little blob. And yet, seeing that little dot/blob was one of the most amazing things in my life. After the technician gave me a copy of the picture, and after she left, I just looked at it and started to tear up.

So far, everything is looking good. The baby's heart rate is 105 beats per minute (although it's still to early to hear it), and everything else is normal. Tom and I are both really excited, though a bit nervous too, of course.

Anyway, I plan to use this blog to help keep everyone up-to-date. It's hard with friends and family spread out like this, but hopefully this will help keep everyone in the loop.

This is not under the proper post but you are not meant to teach high school. You are meant to teach college.

Congratulations.

Love you,

Congrats. Eric and I are really excited for you and Tom (and your Mom, Dad and Brother). I can tell you having a baby brings so much joy. Having just gone through pregnancy we should talk. Give a call whenever you want. I would love to cath up. Hope you aren't feeling morning sick or too tired or to insomniac-like (like I did). Yay for you and congrats on your graduation too!
