Comfort books

Every one has certain comforts to turn to when things are stressful or you're tired or just in a nostalgic mood.  Some people have comfort food - I have comfort books.  While I'm still working on research stuff, I need a break from reading and taking notes on old Zionist newsletters or Arab American pamphlets.  And while it may seem odd to take a break from reading by reading, I love going back to old favorite books.  Currently, I'm re-reading the Anne of Green Gables series.  I love those books so much.  I still remember listening to the audio book version in my aunt's car as we headed up to Blue Lake one summer.  And based on my Facebook status, Rick remembers it too...

Anyway, it's just nice to read for fun, not having to take notes or try to figure out the author's thesis.  I was going to wax nostalgic some more, but Tristan just woke up and is crying, so off I go!
