One Month

Today Ronan's one month old. It's hard to believe it's been a month already. I just wanted to share a few of my favorite things so far.

First is nursing. While I sometimes wish he didn't have to eat quite so often, it's really just a great bonding time. It's so fun to watch his face - for the first week or two, it was pretty much the only time he was awake. Also, one time he had his hand up and raised his little pinky finger. Made me laugh.

Second is seeing him look around and figure things out (at least, that's what I assume he's doing). He loves the ceiling fans we have. He also occasionally reaches out and grabs the stuffed dog in his playpen or stares at it for ages.

Third are the reflexes he has. I love the startle reflex - it just cracks me up. I also love it when he grabs my finger. He's also started grabbing my hair, which isn't quite as fun. :)

Anyway, I could keep going, but I'll spare you. I can't wait to see what the next month will bring.
