is that they eventually become teenagers. :)
I know, it's not all that bad. But today I had to get up early to go proctor a practice ACT test for Kaplan. It was not a good day. I got to the school and had to carry the box of tests in, which was kind of heavy and awkward. I got to the door and rested the box on the handle and tried the other door - it was locked. So while I was trying to reposition the box to open that door, I dropped it, spilling test booklets everywhere and breaking the mug they gave me to put the pencils in. Oops. But then a couple students came out and helped me pack things up (good teens).
Then I got in there, and it turns out that almost 70 kids showed up. Unfortunately, our classrooms only held about 30 students max, so I had to divide them into three rooms. Of course, I also had to time things, but Kaplan only gave me two timers. So it was kind of crazy.
The teen thing that bugged me though was that I had a couple guys who obviously didn't want to be there. They did ok during the first part of the test, but by the science section, they had pretty much lost it. I had to call them out a couple times to remind them to be quiet, since other people were taking it seriously. But overall, it was pretty good. Long though - I got there at 8:30 a.m. and didn't leave until 1:15. Not the best way to spend a Saturday, but at least I got some reading done!
